This is an archived route. It was obsoleted by new clips and the long prop hover is no longer used. See The Bunker Any% for the most up-to-date route for Any%.

Route[]

The goal of the game is to escape the bunker. Using the regrab glitch, this can be achieved extremely quickly. Intro skip can be unlocked by beating the game once, therefore this guide won't cover the linear running section in the trenches outside of the bunker that only occurs in a first playthrough.

Clipping out of bounds[]

The prop clip

Once the wake-up sequence is complete you'll be in a dimly lit room with bunker beds. Find a cylindrical-shaped prop, such as a sandbag or a pillow, and bring it with you to the wooden door. Open the door and bring the prop with you. We'll be using this prop for the whole run. Immediately you'll notice a hole in the wall in the hallway. Use the prop you brought with you to prop clip through this wall, then thread the prop through the hole to bring it out of bounds with you.

Making it to the sub-level load trigger[]

Having the wall be to the left of you, jump straight ahead, around the big rock and land onto the ceiling of the room below. Run along it and and turn left once you reach the wall of a hallway filled with sandbags. Turn left once more to drop down to an extended piece of flooring, not connected to any of the previous ceilings you were on. Run over to the load trigger for the level below, being aware of the collision around you. (Alternatively you can place the prop down and set up a prop fly to provide yourself with a safety net.)

The final stretch[]

The first prop fly

Once the load is complete, place down the prop to set up a prop fly. Prop fly 90° left of the level shaft, straight across the void. After a couple of seconds, begin slowly turning right to curve around the outside of the map, which will visibly load momentarily. Continue prop flying along the outskirts of the map. If you stray too far away the map will unload. To fix/prevent this, simply curve back towards the map and it should reappear shortly.

The final stretch

Once you see a beam of light shining down onto some boulders, drop down and wiggle in between them to land back in bounds at the very last part of the game. Crouch through the small opening and push away some rocks to complete the game.
