What's interesting about Chancel Redux is that despite being a relatively small and straightforward map, it houses a variety of routes depending on which category and difficulty you're choosing.

Quitouts/No Quitouts[]

Out of bounds clip and conventional door dive:[]

We don't actually need to assemble the orb or destroy the machinery to gain access to the Inner Sanctum. All orb pieces are collected just to advance the story to Chapter 3, so that the level door at the end of this level leads to Inner Sanctum. If you try to click the level door to Inner Sanctum while in Chapter 2 the game will crash, as the door doesn't have a map pointer.

Run over to the room where the orb pedestal is and clip out of bounds by hugging the right-most side of the wall to your immediate left. Jump onto the structure, turn right and boost up onto the ceiling. Perform a well-timed jump to just barely make it across a gap and onto the top of the electrical tunnel contraption. Either boost over the wall (slow) or do a well-timed curved jump around the wall onto the floor below, then once more to reach the level door.

A video of this route can be found here: <link>

Segmented door dive[]

This door dive is slightly faster and skips damage but it's very difficult.

No Major Glitches/Glitchless[]

Deathless[]

It's possible to pick up the tar, destroy the machinery, assemble the orb and make it to the Inner Sanctum all while avoiding the Brute.

Death warp[]

Jump into the void to clear all monsters, then destroy the machinery, assemble the orb, wait for the blue sanity flash and enter Inner Sanctum.
